Our December Giving
We
actually didn’t have a meeting this month. We just assembled and took part in a
Christmas giving
on December 14th. Greg had
found a family, in a nearby town, that were truly deserving. Kenny cooked
ham biscuits and we all assembled at his garage.

The plan included taking the bikes, as well as a car or two, and driving directly to their home. There the mom was
presented with a present for her, accompanied by a gift card. From there, the group took her three wonderful
children to a nearby Walmart, for some shopping for each
other.

The
spirit of giving was high, and the experience of seeing it at work was as good
as it gets. While the children were able to
buy each other a gift for Christmas, which they had never been able to do
before, they each had their own special Christmas
when they looked under the tree on Christmas Day!

It’s the
consensus of the group, this was a good Christmas for this family, and we all
felt proud to be a part of it!
