August Newsletter 2008

Our August Meeting

“Ribs By Joel” was the theme for this month’s meal. Man were they ever good!
Accompanied by Potatoes, Baked Beans, & Rolls.

Chris furnished a bunch of various desserts. All of which were good!

The meeting went well, we collected for our Christmas Fund, and “Topped Off” the barrel. (25 fifths)

Earlier This Month

Several of us took a bike trip up to New England. The trip took us through Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine and back

down the east coast to meet some of our group at the Outer Banks of NC. Somebody dared us, so we came through the

middle of New York City at 5 o’clock “Rush Hour” traffic. I think this trip was about 2500 miles.

This was some beautiful countryside. We met up with our buddy, Arnie, and he gave us a good tour of Vermont.

Met up with Dano, Norm & Greg at the Outer Banks. From there we took the ferry over to Ocrakoke.

August was a big month as well. See you in September!
