June Newsletter 2008

Our June Meeting

The meeting this month was at Kenny’s. The menu consisted of Baked Chicken, Rice, Fried Squash,
Green Beans, & Rolls. I think we cooked too much chicken.

Since Carrie was the trooper she was on the last bike trip, not to mention she’s married to Jake,
we welcomed her in to the group.

Russ invited his wife Shannon to drop by and meet the group.
We had her eat with us a well as try a shot of Ole’ George!

Russ & Kenny grabbed their guitars, and began another “Jam Session”. As the night proceeded,
some competition developed regarding Carrie & Shannon, and their boast they were gonna throw
Russ in the pool. Needless to say, it didn't work out as planned, and Russ remained dry!

Earlier This Month

Greg had planned a bike trip to Floyd, Virginia to attend a Bluegrass Concert featuring an artist we all love,
Rhonda Vincent. A few of us were able to make the trip. It rained a little off and on, but it all turned out OK!
Good trip, great music, great fun!
