Our May Meeting
Looks like we’re off and runnin’ with our monthly “Get
Togethers.” Attendance is good,
always plenty of food, and just
good friends havin’ a good time. Jake being the
hunter he is, brought us some Venison Cube Steak.
Throw some Mashed
Taters, & Pintos Beans, with it, and there you have it! Tried
some Sister Schubert’s Yeast Rolls this time.
They kinda went over big!

As
promised last month, we voted to accept Russ in our group. He comes to us with
guitar pickin’ and singin’ talent
as well. Russ hails from
and we are glad to have him join us!

We
donated to our Christmas Fund, discussed a few upcoming adventures, then drug
out the guitars!
It’s amazing
how many words you don’t know to a song until you dive into it!

Earlier This Month
Kenny,
Jake, Carrie (Jake’s Wife), & Tim took a bike trip to
caught a plane, rode with
included Sturgis, Deadwood, Spearfish
Canyon, Devils Tower, Crazy Horse, Badlands, and just a host of wonderful
sites.
Kenny advised us that he had made a donation in the
Society's name to a fellow rider, Tito Monroy in Florida,
who lost a leg in a motorcycle accident. The man responsible for the accident
fled the country; therefore Mr. Monroy
has been left with the burden of financing his prosthetic leg himself. We
figured it was the right thing to do!

We call
this meeting a success, and look forward to June!
