April 2011 Newsletter
~ Our April Meeting~
This month’s meeting was hosted by Jason (Shady Grady) and Leigh. A small group
assembled at Kenny's garage about an hour prior to the meeting,
enjoyed a few Red
Cups and a little conversation, and then headed to Jason’s. Jason has
been doing
a little work around his place, and we have to say, it looked pretty cool!
Jason has a very key individual, Elezar, that works for him in his business. With a
little convincing,
Elezar and his lovely wife, Maribel, prepared an authentic
Mexican feast. It was very original and
very tasty. They also prepared a Salsa that
appeared rather humble at first, but it didn’t
take Dano long to realize otherwise!
Several from the group are headin’ out on a bike trip to Texas in a few days. We have
friends that sometimes ride with us, and will also be joining us on the
upcoming trip.
Dano
invited them to come out and meet the rest, as well as sit in on the final trip
arrangements.
We enjoyed having Lee, Bruce, and Dennis join us for this meeting!
Keeping it right, a fire was built, a lot of socializing was done, and we were
entertained
by Leigh’s
pet Pigmy Goat “Elvis.” Now where can you go and
experience all this in just a few short hours?
We deem this a super successful meeting, and give thanks again to
Jason, Leigh, Elezar, Maribel.... & Elvis!
Meeting Reminder
Our next meeting will be hosted by Vern (and Rhonda), at their home on
May 26th, 2011.
They haven’t nailed down the menu to date,
but you can bet it will be good!
